"Ah...no.. that wasn't what I meant. Back in England that would have passed as a joke...National Health service..nobody pays ..paid..for medicine" Doc winced remembering that his entire nation had fallen victim to plague just 9 months earlier.
"I was just trying to find out who I was sowing back together. Besides that neclace is going to look better on you than me."
"These days all I ask of patients is that they promise to return the favor one day. I figure Goodwill is worth more than diamonds...don't you agree Tiahaar not-HarTura?" said Doc tying off the last of the stitches and reaching for the packet containing the sterile dressing.
Suddenly Doc realised he'd not introduced himself any more than the injured har had. "My Name's Rob Houseman " he added, feeling foolish

"Indra," he said shortly and looked at his leg. No fresh blood was leaking out, which he imagined was a good thing. Unless there wasn't any blood to leak out. Which probably wasn't a good thing,

Doc got the vibe that the strikingly handsome har had little patience for humans, even ones that were probably saving his life.
It was too bad. The city desperately needed the factions to talk and understand each other.
"OK thats you done Tiahaar Indra." he said finishing off the dressing
"I plan to head into Tura territory to meet one of their medical caste. If you want, you can tag along and get healled properly. If not... I suggest you improvise a crutch and head for whatever you call a safe zone."

"I think I will be alright," he tilted his head and prodded his leg lightly. Though, he had no idea, but he wasn't going to admit that. He stood and didn't bother with the crutch idea.

Doc rolled his eyes, It didn't seem to matter what race a teenage patient was, they all thought they knew better than the Doctor...of course it was entirely possible that a wraeththu really could walk on that leg messed up.
"Well.. I'd better be going then." he said packing up and walking to the head of the alleyway. "Oh.. and spread the word to those you trust..anyone needing a Doctor can leave a note at the corner of East Pipeline Road and East 45th Street "
(ooc - see google earth Tacoma)
With one final glance back Doc jogged East toward Tura territory. feeling frustrated at his lack of progress at getting Indra to open up.
It was vital that the residents of Tacoma stop fighting and cooperate. Why couldn't anyone see that? why did no one understand that The Barrier made all resources extremely finite. What would they all do when every last scrap of foodcrop had been scavenged instead of planted. perhaps he'd have better luck with the Tura.
