We've got to work on these forum colors..... the Slate Black is nice for effect, and even the greyish letters on the black is not too bad, but any link you click on or have visited before turns into a black, nearly invisible url after it's been hit.
I like this better than the crimson format, but it still needs a little contrast to read better.... At least on the visited pages color.... make it white or a lt blue or something.... But the contrast is still a little shaky around the ridge....
Wraeththu RPG@wiki is now finished except for a full post about the actualy rpg and setting, etc... and for a few small details like character descriptions and tribe blurbs... but those are to go on the pages anyways, so they can hold off until we have a good idea of what to expect of them.
Every wraerpg wiki is exported, which means the 'exported version of the page' is the page that can be linked to from anywhere online, as long as the url link is posted for THAT page.... the 'inside Elftown version of the page' is only for ON elftown, while LOGGED IN. Even if you use a different viewing format, or 'stylesheet' as they call them (I use index.__/blue I love the blue version.... so soothing), the only one showing is the exported version, not the colorful, stylized, ET-ish one.
I suggest that the same basic thread structures in this forum be similar to our setup on ET, at least in the sense of what to include here... a general overall topic/story discussion/plot line/timeline/etc, and a few threads dedicated to tribes, characters, settings/areas, magic/energy/power, and whatever else is good.... I do see that a wiki link can be made for almost everything, but I don't expect that the rp should necessarily be IN the wiki... they are just there for convenience, space, and organization. At least this way, every topic is viewable and commentable for any angle, any page, and any zone that relates to it, like a thread here in the RPG...
Looks like all we need to do now is star rping a little and getting it started... Then, maybe take a little time to consider advertising or recruiting.... After we're all settled and happy with what we have done, of course.
So far, I am happy. I feel that I did my fair share thus far.
Can't wait to be involved like a real persona... I will try to start a little of it tonight if I can.
