Hello everyone!
I hosted a Yahoo! IM live chat tonight, and brought up some key points about how the RPG will be working without all three moderators being able to be involved.
I will post them here, copied from the Live Chat:
I hope that everyone has enjoyed the RPG concept, and I welcome everyone to put your ideas into the hat for consideration.
Best wishes to you all,

I hosted a Yahoo! IM live chat tonight, and brought up some key points about how the RPG will be working without all three moderators being able to be involved.
I will post them here, copied from the Live Chat:
- xidoraven: Just so everyone knows, I will not be able to stay on until 9pm EST as I planned on doing. I will be leaving out of here within the hour.
- xidoraven: I would like to make a few key points, however, about how I will running the RPG in the future, until Amy and Casey return full-time. The first is concerning the scheduled times, dates and methods of posting to the board, and when (in game-time) those postings take place.
- xidoraven: The second is about character creation, admission, and profiles.
- xidoraven: Finally, I will ask for input from all of the members who have ideas or concerns about the RPG's new mode of working, etc.
- xidoraven: The schedule will continue as follows: Every first Sunday of the month, the RPG will change over to a new day. It is currently Jan. 6th, year one (we will use year numbers instead of era-dating, for simplicity), and on Sunday, March 4th, it will be Jan. 7th, and so on.
- xidoraven: If you are in a different time schedule or method, be sure to be clear on what day and time it is, and make sure that IT IS A DAY IN THE PAST from the current date. This will help because it is always easier to go back and make something new instead of going forward and keeping everyone else up to pace with you.
- xidoraven: This method, called over-writing, can be a tricky process if you are not careful as to what other posts were made regarding this date, time, and location. Be sure to research your zone clearly and precisely, so that you do not 'powerplay' and write over someone else's clearly-stated history (past posts).
- xidoraven: If you respect the posts of others, you are more likely to be invited to RP with someone else in their own zone, on their own terms.
- xidoraven: I will post all changes in date/time to the Calendar, so that it is easily accessible to all members on every page. See this function toward the top of the board page.
- xidoraven: When it comes to character creation, your imagination can get the best of you if you are not careful. Sometimes it seems so fun to make a character that is already quite powerful, knowledgeable, or just 'street smart' about anything you choose, whenever you choose. This is not a very fun or humble way of treating a character that will nearly always find themselves drawn into or through some form of evolution, known as 'character progression.'
- xidoraven: It is always best to start with a simple character: one that does not have a plethora of powers and talents, and one that can be moderated without seeming fake or obsessive. Playing in the middle ground can be quite rewarding, since any good story will see change occur in the characters within it, and with a long-term, online platform such as this, this change will happen even faster in game-time than if it were taking place at home in someone's basement. Trust me, if you are a good roleplayer, your character will experience change and evolution in progressive terms, and you will not need all those shiny powers in the first scene.
- xidoraven: When it comes to application and admission to the RPG, please be patient with me (Will), as it can get quite hectic copy-pasting character sheets to wikipages, and notifying the player of the update. This is a voluntary job; not something I get paid for. Please be patient and understanding, and keep in contact with me however possible, so that I am reminded of what needs to be done as more people show up and ask for help. I will do everything that I can for you within reason, and you will have a very nice character sheet to show off for it as well.
- xidoraven: I can be emailed at xidoraven@yahoo.com, and I accept any messages sent through the board messaging service.
- xidoraven: I will typically get back to you within 3-4 days, unless I am super busy with schoolwork, or I get a weekend off. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good.
- xidoraven: Lastly, I am always open to new ideas for the game, for specific characters' progression and internal storyline, and for input about the way in which the RPG runs. I will listen to every idea equally, but be forwarned that some things will not change, and those are the things that were set up before the game even opened by the Moderators. The external storyline (or the 'game plot') will occur as planned, and all characters will be asked to react accordingly to external stimuli as much as possible, though we will try to do it in a way which does not hamper individuals' internal storylines.
- xidoraven: If anyone has any other ideas, questions, issues, concerns or compliments, I am open to them all. Thanks, and I will see you all around!
