Sabine awoke from his place, asleep in the commons. His head hurt: This was all he was aware of. It hurt. He rolled to his side, away from the rest of the group, and then made a dash for the bathroom. Puking. Wraeththu don't get sick. But sick was how he certainly FELT, judging by the emptying of his stomach. His head hurt, so bad... So this was what a migraine feels like, he thought numbly.

Roused from his sleep by the absence of Sabine at his side, Jish rolled onto his knees and followed Sabine's progress. At the same time he was mildly aware of some annoying little flutter against his psychic defenses and when he reached out to see what it was, he frowned.
"Reza," the Nahir-Nuri growed as he got to his feet. He was going to have a nice long talk with the little shit when he got back. In the mean time there was no use worrying over spilt milk, so he followed Sabine and lifted the young har's hair out of the way.
"Head hurts?" he asked in a conversational tone.

Sabine glanced meekly to Jish, and nodded. "Yeh. A bit." Understatement of the century. "I guess I should find some tylonal, or something," he murmurs. "Sorry if I woke you..."

Sharky left the store for the commons, and entered it with no small trepedation. How anyone could sleep through that telepathic shit-fit HE'd heard was beyond him. But there they were: Some slept. Many more than he would've guessed. Perhaps Reza's cries had been more focused than he had previously thought, he wondered. He glanced at his watch, at the time, and sighed in dismay, suddenly feeling very tired, and very old.

Muttering to himself, Jish placed his hands against Sabine's temples and began to build up psychic barriers to dampen Reza's mental tantrum.
"That better?" he asked when it was over.

Sabine's breathing calmed, his whole demeanor did, as well, at the contact, as the barriers were built. "Yeh." The young har paused, peering at Jish with his dark eyes. "I never had headaches before, Jish..." he seemed slightly worried about this new developement.

"Don't look so worried," said Jish in a voice that he hope was reassuring. "It was just Reza throwing the psychic equivilant of one of your tantrums," he explained, brushing a few strands of Sabine's hair out of his eyes.
"You remember when I told you about the web? Well, that was Reza demonstrating how well he can use it."

"I don't think I like Reza that much," Sabine said, then he added: "And I don't throw tantrums..." THe har yawned. "Christ, what time is it? Doesn't Reza ...sleep?"

Leaning against a wall, Sharky watched the two. "He doesn't sleep much," he admited. "But I think it's more than a simple hissy-fit. " The har got out a pouch of tobacco, rolled himself a cigarette and lit it.

"Yes you do," said Jish, smiling a little as he ruffled Sabine's hair. "'specially when you don't get what you want." He looked over at Sharky and nodded at the other har.
"Definately not just the average hissy fit if it's giving Sabine here a headache," he agreed. "Got any idea where he is?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Sharky shook his head. "Haven't seen him in a few days, and I don't monitor the border-patrol's rants. They get pretty damn dull." His eyes unfocused a moment, then he blinked. "Well, he's off Rodrae turf, apparently hurt and in a room. Gee..." -he scoweled- "That narrows it down to.. oh.. MOST of the CITY!"

Jish, who had much more patience than most, rolled his eyes. "Ask him what it smells like, you doofus," he said, working his way through the web, until he found the bright spot that was Reza. "Geeze, he is far out, isn't he?" he said in a contemplative tone. "Not Frag territory though..."

Sabine yawned, and trudged through the door-way after giving Jish a nuzzle. "Have fun with your adventure. I'm going back to bed."

"Of course," said Jish, wriggling his fingers in farewell after Sabine. Then he turned to Sharky and raised his eyebrows in question. "So, what are we going to do? Rescue Mr. Feral or just go and sit with him until he's better?"

Sharky watched Sabine leave without comment, then turned back towards Jish. "He hasn't been this much of a pain in the ass to get through to since his first week after inception. I'd say it's time to play cavalry.... Though we might want to check with the rest of the border patrol to see when the last time Reza checked in with them was..."
