(OOC: For Tavis and Coal)
Tavis hadn’t been able to sleep; the hospital was busy and loud this morning. Moving silently through the hospital hallways he made his way to what had once been a community garden. The Tura tribe had taken it over on discovery that it had lived through the bombing.
Tavis wanted to move out of the hospital, find a small apartment of his own, but just hadn’t gotten around to it. That and he wasn’t sure he wanted to be on his own just yet. Things we still crazy and no one seemed to know what was going on, or if they did they sure as hell weren’t saying anything. Pushing that out of his mind Tavis hummed softly to himself as he knelt down amidst the plants and started to weed.

Coal too had recently left a hospital. Picking his way carefully out of Rodrae Territory, Coal was not really aware of actually leaving their area. Only a minimal lessoning of the damage to buildings and graffiti sprayed walls. Sasha's blessing, Coal assumed had kept the Rodrae from eating him on the way out, but he knew they were there. He scratched at his neck as he moved out of sight down a narrow street.
His feet hurt, walking for hours in the semi-light of the latter part of the night and early morning had left his feet bruised and battered from countless stubs on loose boulders and debris. Climbing a broken section of the wall he looked toward the east to the rising sun and ran his fingers through his hair. It was matted, his hair and he shook it out furiously. His bath gone to nothing wandering in the streets of this blasted city. He removed his boots and was looking at his sock-less bruised toes when he realized he was sitting across the street from a well developed garden and a hospital, again.

Tavis started to sing, it was horridly off key, but he liked the noise and figured it was better than talking to himself. He didn’t notice the har watching the garden as he went about his business watering and weeding. It was comforting to work in the garden for Tavis, it was mindless work.

Noise! Coal winced and covered his ears. It wasn't the volume but the sheer abandoning of all hope of tune or pitch.
He stood and walked toward the noisesome har. He looked over the gardener as he approached and nodded to himself in appreciation. Alot less savage, he thought to himself.
He stopped a few meters from the har and shuffled one foot while he cleared his throat.
"You really should stick to gardening." He smiled as he spoke and leaned on a post, no doubt erected to catch the vines that may or may not grow to maturity here.
Coal looked around a little nervously, keeping an eye out for any guardians this gardening har might have,

Tavis jumped, he hadn’t been expecting any har to be up and about this early, at least not out in the garden.
“Sorry, I didn’t think anyone could hear me,” Tavis offered a small smile. He attempted a discreet once over of the har before him. He looked harmless, but you couldn’t really go by that.

Nice eyes, thought Coal and he smiled warmly. He could tell immediately that there was little to no malice in this one.
"I'm Coal, and I wasn't really listening, just heard it."
He slid down the pole, drew his legs up to his chest, hugging them and watching the har over his knees. He could smell the earth and the freshly planted vegetables, along with the taint of the bomb passing. He wrinkled his nose in distaste and focused on scenting the har near him.

“Tavis har Tura,” He said, wondering what tribe Coal was from. Obviously he wasn’t a Tura, and Tavis didn’t think it was likely he was Vistari. Not knowing made Tavis uncomfortable, but he was within running distance to other Tura, and he did know how to defend himself.
“What brings you here this morning?” He asked, hoping to learn who and where this har was from.

"Turaah...Hmm...never heard of them. I'm a Frag in case you wondered. We don't speak like you do, unfortunately." Coal did sound disapointed. His tribe was so uncouth and barbaric. He sighed audibly and returned to steadily gazing at Tavis.
"I'm pleased to meet you, Tavis. And what brings me out is I am wandering, learning about the city and its Har."

“You must be recently incepted then?” Tavis asked. He had only been har since the day after the bombing, so didn’t have much experience. He and his brother had come to the Wraeththu a few days before the bomb, but they weren’t incepted right away.
He couldn’t imagine any har not recently incepted not knowing of the tribes. He learned of the different tribes quickly, and which ones to avoid. "The Tura's are healers," he explained.

Coal nodded slowly, taking in the lesson.
"Honestly I have heard of you, but well, I don't really trust what the Frags say till I learn it, and they didn't say much."
He offered a weak smile and picked at the frayed collar of his long velvet coat, a coat that had seen better days.
"Please continue."

Tavis tilted his head to the side, “What would you like to know? You are currently in Tura territory; it is based around St. Bridget’s hospital.” Tavis wasn’t really sure what this har wanted to know and what he should tell him. Not that Tavis knew anything that would compromise Tura security.

The har shrugged a little and layed his chin on his knees.
"All of it, whatever there is to tell me. About you, your wants and desires, your hopes and dreams...not all that insignificant stuff that we cling too to give us identity. I am this or that...it makes no difference, Tavis...what I want is whats in you."
He smiled a friendly smile and strewtched out his long legs on the ground, laying back against the pole and regarding Tavis from under his bangs.

Tavis was baffled by this har, why would he possibly want to know so much about him?
“Um…I. Why?” Tavis just couldn’t stop himself from asking, “I’m not very interesting. I’m just a normal kid…I mean har.” It was hard for him sometimes to accept that he wasn’t human. “I can tell you about the Tura, but really why ever would you want to know how I work?

Coal rolled his eyes and smiled.
"Tavis, do you think you are that unworthy of my interest? That I would be bored by anything you had to say?"
Coal regarded the other har with an almost pained expression of frustration,
"Don't make me weedle it out of you." he flashed a grin.

Tavis sputtered, “I…wha…You just met me. You can’t possibly be interested in me. Who are you anyway? Do you do this to everyone you meet; interrogate them for random information about their lives? You’re strange, you know that?”
